Ahead of this week's Toronto City Council meeting on bubble legislation, ALCCA Chair Mark Sandler joined John Tory on Newstalk 1010 to discuss the proposed bylaw.


He explained how the legislation aims to protect vulnerable spaces – places of worship, schools, and daycares – without restricting the right to protest.


Drawing on constitutional precedent and examples from other provinces, Sandler made the case for balancing fundamental freedoms with safety from intimidation and harassment.
