In May and June 2024, ALCCA members presented to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. ALCCA members gave oral and written testimony about the rapidly growing problem of antisemitic activity on university campuses across Canada and its pervasiveness in other institutions and learning environments.

The Parliamentary Hearings

The Alliance of Canadians Combatting Antisemitism (ALCCA) is a coalition of community groups, organizations, and individuals who are concerned about the sharp rise in antisemitic activity in Canada, particularly on Canadian university campuses, and especially since the attacks of October 7th, 2023.

Concerns about antisemitism are not confined to Canadian university campuses. As reflected in many briefs filed by ALCCA members to the recent Parliamentary Hearings antisemitism is pervasive in K-12 settings as well as in our institutions and professions.
